In editing mode Dashboard not responding

First thank you for the advice on upgrading to 5.6.3 (dashboard didn't give me the option of 5.6.1).

I had bluehost restore backup to C5 5.4 - now while in editing mode the Dashboard pages show up blank or with message "that page not found."
