In order to remove "view" permission, I have to uncheck "edit" permission also.

I am using a simple permissions mode.
http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/general-topics/simple-permis...
When I want to remove "view" permission from a user/group with both "view" and "edit" permissions, I have to uncheck "edit" permission also.
When I uncheck "view" of GroupA in (1), it will be (2), but I want (3).
Is it possible to uncheck automatically?
(1)

no, but this isn't really neccessary- if a user can't view a page then they can't edit it- most people should be able to figure that out.
When I push "save" button in (2), Concrete5 adjust to (1).
So, if I start (3) and want to add "edit" permission (and "view" permission), that's allright.
But if I start (1) and want to remove "view" permission (and "edit" permission), (2) doesn't work, since Concrete5 automatically adjust to (1). Users permission remain (they can both "view" and "edit").
It's OK to uncheck both "view" and "edit", since removal of permission is not often. But I think a notice message will be a great help.

hmm I think you should add this to the bug tracker then- sorry I didn't really understand the first time. I think its "rounding" the opposite way you want, to enable all the ones that you want as opposed to disabling those you don't want.
