insert existing sql-content into c5-page?
Hi all
I decided to redo our dance group page, since I'm not happy with the existing one anymore. I purchased the clear view template, which I like very much. So far so good.
Now, on the old site I got three pages where I used to feed stuff from sql-databases (news, agenda and guest book). There's a lot of data, and I'd like to continue using that (especially "agenda", since there are all the events we've ever had.
How can I continue to use those databases on my new c5-site?
Old site:http://www.inzane.ch/inzane
Thanks for you input!
Best

you will either have to make a block, or a singlepage to do this, but yes, you can, and its not too hard,
Thanks, that's great news!
I'm a complete n00b in that area though - can you tell me how? Or tell me where I can find out?
Thank you again, Christa

hmm,
you have to have a basic understanding of php and MYSQL and c5, depending on how complicated the script is (do you have to write your own queries or do you have them) it can be easy or complicated for a beginner,
