Insert link to page generates wrong path

Hey there! My problem is a rather strange one, I have no idea why could this happen. When I insert the content block the path generated is somehow wrong, part of the path is duplicated, like:
http://datecast.com/~ex_developer/startsite//~ex_developer/startsit...
The actual path would be:http://datecast.com/~ex_developer/startsite/index.php?cID=126...
I modified several part of the url, so this is not an actually valid address, but only a placeholder to help communicate my problem. Any advice would be really nice - I have only 10 hours to get to the end of this. Thanks!
