inserting a swf into a content block

I am trying to insert a SWF file (several) and i went via the video icon on the editor toolbar and when it asks me for a file/url, i put in the name of the swf file with the extension and it does not seem to work (although i see a box placeholder). Am i missing something?

Any immediate help would be greatly appreciated.
