Installed and Available layout feels very 1995; 2 fixed-width vertical columns?

Installed and Available contains 2 fixed width columns placed vertically...
Yet, most screens today are wider than they are tall...
This creates a ton of empty space, forcing site admin to scroll vertically to see their add-ons, wondering why they bought that nice 27" monitor or decided to use Concrete5 for progressive design reasons ;)
Please change the layout so entries fill up the horizontal width of the browser first, then once the width is full, start to stack entries below.
Also, think the core blocks should be it's own separate block (not tagged onto the bottom of the installed blocks list).
