Intermittent 'Access Denied' messages

Hi

Does anyone else get an "Access Denied" message some times, this happens on a default install for admin and for new admins on custom themed sites.

It can happen and then be fine the next time?

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks,
Jake

I get this message frequently, across several C5 sites I manage. The message invariably comes up the second time i go to edit a block in a single editing session. I generally find that if i save the changes for the session, and then click edit page again i can successfully edit the block again, however, only once before the access denied error reappears. I get the error consistently on my own website. I have been told to clear the cache to deal with this issue in the past, but in the case of my site, the cache is disabled.

I hve assumed, because i have been eeing this issue for at least a couple of months, and have had the issue raised with several of my clients, that the error is a bug that will be sorted out at some point in the future.

Thanks Bryce - nice to know I am not alone, maybe.

I guess I'll wait and hope for a fix.

Seems perhaps too deep in C5 to chase myself.

+1 happening to me like crazy and really affecting productivity. Can't wait til I have to explain this one to the clients. Is this a new "feature" of the latest upgrade?

It isn't a problem in every installation. I only have the issue on one or two installations - The bug doesn't seem to be an issue with every site. I haven't heard anything else on this issue so any guess I would make about it would be just that. Maybe the bug is brought on by a particular addon?
