is there a way to automatically choose which data & blocks go on a product page?

i've been listing products like crazy since i bought the commerce addon. but i find it a little tedious to edit each product page for a specific product.

my question is is there a way to automatically choose which data formatting to be shown on the product page? like if i choose a specific product attribute etc. also would be it be possible to do the same for a block from the scrapbook to be automatically added as well?

I think you want to use the "Product List" block and have it show a subset of your products based on a query. For example, you can create a "category" product attribute, and assign each product to one of several categories. Then you tell the Product List block to show all products in one particular category on a certain page.

This is definitely the way to go -- adding products one by one is really only intended for very small catalogs or special pages where you only want to feature or highlight a couple of products.
