Issue with editing pictures

I am trying to change a picture in a block on my site. I have done this many times with no problem. Recently I was requested to update the version of concrete5 that I was using and now I can not get the picture to size correctly. Even if I just put back the same picture that was originally there it comes out much to large.
I do not have much experienced working on websites and am probably doing something silly but I have no idea what.
Please help

What version did you move from?

Is there a URL we could look at?

My site is

Your site is actually on 5.6.3.3 so I assume you upgraded from 5.6.2.1 which shouldn't be a problem

I cannot find any images that I would consider to be a problem Is there a specific image you are concerned about?

Thanks for your assistance. I wanted to change the images in the seasonal file of my portfolio. When I changed one and went to view the edit it was much too large so I did not save the changes.

It's pretty tough to diagnose a problem that's not there. Can you save the image and point me to it so I can have a look at the actual problem.

It seems to only be happening on this page.

The other images on that page seem to have the width set at 275px. Try deleting the troublesome block and copying one of the Image blocks that works and pasting it into the troublesome area. Then edit the pasted block and change the photo.

I tried that but the result is the same. If I try to edit and change any of the other pictures on that page they also do the same thing (get too large).

Wow... What if you add an image block on some other page? Does it behave the same?

Do you happen to have full page caching on? Perhaps try clearing your c5 cache?

I'm off to bed now. It's 3am on Cape Breton Island

It's a bug that was introduced in 5.6.3.3: https://www.concrete5.org/developers/bugs/5-6-3-3/image-block-scale-...

It looks like it has been fixed and would be included in the next 5.6.3.4 update, no ETA on when that will be released though.

In the meantime, either resize your image manually before uploading it (recommended), or scale it down through the File Manager.

Man, I'm usually up-to-date on my bug reports. Sorry for the wild goose chase. It never occurred to me that something so fundamental would be broken by an upgrade and I just updated one of my sites to 5.6.3.3 and now I'm regretting doing that.

Thanks so much for your help. I will try that and see if it does the trick for now.
