Keep getting logged out

Hi folks
I have a customer who keeps getting logged out of his site when he is editing it.
The issue is so bad, that when he adds a page he gets logged out before the added page appears to start editing it!
He is using Google Chrome. Could it be a cookie issue or something like that?
