What version of C5 are you using? What block are you using?

Sorry, I posted on the Google Maps block page but I see that my message doesn't appear related to it.

5.7.5.2 Google Map block

thanks

It doesn't look like this is an option. There is an add-on in the Marketplace that handles this thoughhttp://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/sassy-maps...

thanks :(

Concrete5 is great, but it's also the most expensive free open source CMS I know :)

You don't have to buy add-ons, if you are a developer you can build your own.

That is also a cost ;)

You are joking, right?

All decent 'Free' cms's cost one way or another (no such thing as a free lunch)?

$15.00 for what you want is a no brainer!!

You charge $15.00 an hour or more, so client pays, and it's probably cost you that much in time and money by asking the question and responding in the forum!

I create a Web site for myself so I cannot ask money to nobody.
What I mean is that I can start most of open source CMS and find all "modules" I need, but Concrete5 require to buy many basic features, and in fact has not free themes.

Then, ok, I can also add that Concrete5 seems great and I like it. More than Drupal, Wordpress, DNN and Orchard (all CMS I tried in the past), so I like it and I appreciate it. And if I may start selling some Web sites (currently not my business), it can be a great platform to start. But still I report that is really poor of "free" feature (better just than Orchard) and this is a fact. In many scenarios, a free ecosystem is important. Also, a free ecosystem can expand users that later maybe will become developers and start creating commercial products over that platform.
That's all.

There a lot of 'FREE' features and 'FREE' themes?

Anyway, regarding your original post, have you set your location flag with google in the right place?

Ho can I do this? I've only a text field "Start typing a location (e.g. Apple Store or 235 W 3rd, New York) then click on the correct entry on the list."
