Prevent opacity from being inherited

Hi all

UPDATE:

Ok, it all comes down to this question: How do I prevent the opacity settings from the parent DIV from being inheritet by the child DIV?

Seewww.www.c-ex-c.org/Testsite_textcube2...

As you can see, the logo has inherited the opacity settings from #header-bkg.

Now look at

www.www.c-ex-c.org/Testsite_textcube3...

This is with opacity in #header-bkg turned off... Now the logo looks the way I want it to.

Googled it, but so far no working solution...any other way than postitioning the logo absolute?

CSS opacity is always inherited. There’s no way around it unless you take the child element out of its transparent parent. :-)

Maybehttp://mandarindesign.com/opacity.html... will help (if they’re online again – site not accessible at the time of writing)?

I found that out in the meantime...sucks. Thanx for the mandarin link - I'll check it out as soon as they're back up.

In the meantime, I ran into a new problem...
