Layout Column Width

How can I exactly define the column width in a layout? I can only use the drag-handler - but that's quite imprecise.

Im looking at the code and the width of the columns seems to be hard coded.

<div class="ccm-layout-5-col-1 ccm-layout-cell ccm-layout-col ccm-layout-col-1 first" style="width:33%">

This is for three columns. I'll take a look at the template and see if it can be customized. As a work-around, I would apply a css class or id to each column and try overriding it in the css.

Go to the add-ons and get the $15 block splitter. you can create columns and have complete control over them. It also does tabs and more. It's a great block.

I would urge a small amount of caution and run tests before diving in to the Area Splitter block, while it's a good deal and very helpful, there have been a few outstanding bugs reported.
