Layout only works in Edit mode after 5.4.2.1 Upgrade

The layout functions in my content areas work fine in edit mode but don't work once I sign out. Everything just stacks vertical.

I am running 5.4.2.1

(Also, my slideshows no longer show up either, but they do in edit mode.)

Figured this out. I was using a modified header_required.php in my local elements directory from the 5 Ways to Speed up Your Site thread at.http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/how-tos/developers/five-easy...

Once I deleted that file (out of the local elements directory, not the concrete/elements directory, my slideshows and layouts all worked fine again.

I didn't notice a big slowdown because I am using Andrew Embler's Improve Zend Cache fix.http://andrewembler.com/posts/improving-the-performance-of-zend-cac...
