Linking to page from a stack

I'm trying to link to a page from a section of text within a stack and it just doesn't seem to be working. It doesn't give any error message it just won't select the page once the dialogue box is up. It just doesn't do anything.
I can link a full URL as if it was an outside page which is an easy enough workaround but I wasn't sure if that was best practice or if it belied a larger problem.
Thoughts?
