Could anyone help me get a full page without right or life sidebars with this template or any of the free templates that come with concrete 5

I'm at my wits end:-)

What you need to search for amongst the themes is 'fluid'. Most themes are fixed width or responsive within a maximum fixed width.

If a theme is fluid, or contains a fluid page type, it scales continuously to fit the width of the browser.

There are definitely some fluid themes there. I don't know if any are free.
