Lock a page from editing if some one else is editing

Hi,
How can we lock a page from editing it if some one else is already in the edit mode.
So as to avoid multiple edits on the same page at the same time.

doesn't concrete do this by default?
i would like to unlock that function. do you know if you can do that. to have multi users editing the same page at the same time?
This would be nice, the unlock setting.
