Lock a page in site map / tree
Permalink
I'm wondering if it's possible to disable the actions on a particular page in the site map via the dashboard. I don't mind if my client edits the contents on the page, but I do not want them to be able to delete the page or drag-n-drop the page.
Any ideas?

Unfortunately no! This is something that I run into more often than not - especially with larger websites. I'm considering hooking into C5 core events to see if I can disable actions and respond to the user accordingly - but this seems like hackery to me. The only other way I was thinking would be through advanced permissions.
What methods have you tried? I've simply educated the client that they can not modify certain structures - which obviously is no ideal.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I want my clients to be able to edit pages, but some pages are vital to their site structure, so I don't want them to accidentally delete one.
thanks,
