At the bottom of your home page should be a link that says something like 'sign in to edit this site' click that then enter your password and username.
The first link, after logging in will take you to your dashboard. The second link, after logging in will take you to your home page in Administration mode.
To start editing a page click the "Edit Page" button in the top left corner of your site. When you are done editing the page click that same button which should then read "Exit Edit Mode"

If you don't have that link (for some weird reason) then try pointing your browser to either of these addresses:
www.www.yoursite.com/index.php/dashboard...
or
www.www.yoursite.com/index.php/login...
