I have a client that has had several complaints about people not being able to log-in one minute and then able to the next.
Is there a limit to the amount of people that can be logged in at one time or something?

Nope, no limits. I sometimes hear of odd login issues for people using Windows with strict privacy settings in IE that can trickle to other browsers like Firefox. Otherwise, nope, never heard of anything like that.
