Lost EDIT and Sign In on Home Page of my website
Permalink
After I pasted an HTML code to the home page, several graphical contents disappeared. The sign-in feature is gone, and restoring the site back to previous versions is not working. I cannot access the admin sign on from the home page to fix the problem, and logging in from any other page, only seems to change that page. Please help
Jodi,
Thank you for replying. However, I tried all the steps you suggested and they still did not work. Instead, I had to contact my website hosting support. They were able to roll back the web page to before where the error occurred. There is still a quirk in the coding of the home page that I have to try and weed out.

you can always log in to your site by going to:
yoursite.com/index.php/login
Once you're logged in, if you cannot see the edit toolbar on your homepage, try going to:
yoursite.com/index.php/dashboard
(Simply enter the address manually in your browser)
There you should be able to see the c5 dashboard. Go the Sitemap, select the homepage and roll back to a previous working version. (You simply need to click on the page, approve a previous version of the page and delete the latest one).
Regards,
Jordi
