major problem with attribute text editor

hi,
since a few hours i have the major problem tha i can't change anything in my custom attribute rte text area.

if i go into the page properties dirctly via the sitemap i can save the changes i do.but there i can't realy use the RTE.

when i go into the page properties on the page directly i can use the full RTE functions, but after i hit SAVE nothing happens, none of my changes applied.

what is going on here?

i already build a few site with c5 and never had this problem before.

also i have another site also in V5.4.0.5 and also on the same host, where i don't have this problem.

i have no idea what my problem might be!?

hello out there,
nobody got a clue for this?

this problem is really really annoying.
I CAN'T SAVE any changes i do in the text field, when i go to the attributes directly through properties in the page view.

when i acess the properties through the site-map i can save. but there i have not really much possiilities for formating the text.

am i missing something?

very curious also ... for the same page i have some custom attributes - text fields, which work fine for saving.

alss when i add a content block in page view the tinyMCE works perfect ad everything get saved too.

it's only the TEX AREA ATTRIBUTE that does not work.

at the moment i'm trying to move me whole page, because at the moment it is at a subdomain. maybe this solves the problem ... hopefully

I've got the same issue - just tried it.

I reckon this could be a bug...

and it is not only that it is not saving.

the whole tinymce-editor behaves very strange.
- f.e. colorpickers not loading!
- when i press "insert link to page" a ccm dialog pop up, but only with the page itself in it, No sitemap.

I have raised a bug for this as i'm sure many people have. It's a real stumbling point for me.

I have also raised a bug report.

I was a little more specific in my report but generally the Text area attribute is very buggy.

I add text, save, and then it disappears

I Sometimes get a blank warning window

Even if I click "html" when using a rich text-area attribute. No HTML is there and also the "save" button has gone.

Guess I will have to add content the old fashioned way *sigh*
