I'm hoping this is a possible!

The plan is to have a textbox and a button, that will POST a username. I then want this username to be able to see a *secret* page, which is not viewable to any other users.

This works perfectly using the default advanced permissions, but I want it to be as user friendly as possible for the user and the above would be perfect.

I've seen segments of this in practice, but it is using groups as opposed to specific usernames. Has anyone done this or similar and have partial code that will help?
