Making Page List Show Summary of Page Content

I had deleted the default blog when I first built one of my sites. At the time I didn't need it.
Now I do.
I added the Page List block to the home page set up exactely as showed on this page:

The page list only displays the links to the pages, not any content from the pages. There has to be a way to display a summary of the page beneath the link to the page.

Anyone know how to do this?
Sounds like the site was built some time ago, so I'm guessing you're using 5.6. If so, the page list teasers add-on might be helpful for you.

What version of concrete5 are you using?
I am using 5.6 because I keep getting error messages when I try 5.7.
