1. I've activated the advanced permissionmode

2. If I edit the page type defaults (pages and themes - page types - default) I can set area permissions.

3. I'd like to hide certain blocks from users..


I can't find a way to set permissions in a page type, even if the dialog is available. All the pages I've created from the page type don't inherit the page type permissions...

I did test this using the current stable version 5.4.0.5
