Mass upload images / Gallery options
Permalink
Hi all
I'm almost done with my new site, but there's one thing missing.
I've got thousands of pictures, all of which you can purchase as well. So what I need is
1.) an option to mass-upload pictures
2.) a way to integrate those into my gallery.
Now, I bought the gallery add-on, and there you can specify entire file sets for a gallery. But how can I sort images, and mass add them to a specific fileset? Does the file manager have some kind of option of sub folders? One for each type of gallery?
And, what's the easiest way to mass upload pictures, or files of any kind, for that matter?
My goal is to be able to upload a bunch of pics (50+) per subject I offer pictures from, mark them a specific file set in one step, and then add them to a new gallery (which is easily possible once marked as a set).
How do I do this?
thanx

You can use a flash uploader there, or you can FTP them all into an incoming directory and import them that way..
either way when you import them the file manager should let you add them all to a "set" or create a new set for them at that time..
sets are pretty much like folders, except there's no hierarchy and you can have a single file in many sets...
if you use gmail, think of sets like labels.
