Member Registration Question
Permalink
I have a question about Member Registration.
I looked at pretty much everything but I couldn't find the answer to my question.
Is there anyway that allows a guest to sign up as a member themselves?
Sorry if this question is sort of dumb... I'm new here.

That helped a little, but where on the site would the members be able to register on the home page of the site?
I don't see any place for that... maybe I'm missing something?

You'll need to create a link to the Register Page or use the Register option found in the free Login Block available for download.
Ok, I figured it out.
Thanks for helping :)

if upgrade, have you cleared you cache?
yes i did clear the cache after updating but still the same.
I had such problems when I used the svn versions. Sometimes it didn't execute the install/upgrade script properly..
This of course shouldn't happen if you updated from an official version.
What helped in my case, was adding a single page (manually). Go to pages, single pages and enter this value "/dashboard/users/registration" and add it...

I've posted this guide

The upgrade script didn't add the single page.
So you need to add the single page by yourself.

Could someone please provide a step-by-step to make the registration form show up the page? I have already enabled the feature, but still don't know/see it anywhere on the page.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
Once you've enabled the feature, you should see a registration form at
http://yoursite.com/index.php/register/...

I configured everything as shown above and everything works fine. But in the end, the registration form requires the user to agree to the "terms and conditions". problem is, I cant find an Option to integrate them. There is no checkbox or such on the form and i never spelled them out anyway...
Thanks for your help.
By the the way: Thanks for your great CMS! Its a real treat to work with!!
