HI I have added a meta description and keywords in properties under attributes, however it does not show up in the source code when I exit , have a missed a step

If you want to add attribute values to a specific page, e.g. Home, one way is to go to the Sitemap in the Dashboard, click Home, select Properties, then click the tab "Custom Attributes". You can also do it by clicking Properties from the top menu when you're in edit mode.
