Meta tags wont stay put

within the "properties" of my page,
(custom attributes)
I enter the Meta Title, Description,and Keywords.
Click on save.
then they disappear!
what am I doing wrong?

Are you exiting edit mode and hitting publish?
I'm in
Dashboard (not the edit section of a block)

home page
properties
custom attributes.
meta tile, description, keywords.
there is a save button.
which i do Click.
when i return to this section,
anything i enter in the 3 meta areas vanishes.
