Missing Nav item
Permalink
So inside my church website I was editing the Member page. The Member page is part of the global nav at the top of the site. I published the edits but now when I go to the site the nav no longer contains the Member page in the nav. I checked the page I do NOT have "Exclude from nav" checked. However, when I go to the Full Sitemap, it doesn't show. When I click on "show system pages" it and it's subpages are located there. I tried simply moving the page back to where it belonged under the Home page. However, it won't move. How do I restore my pages to where they belong in the sitemap so they will display in my nav?

No it's not. it is in the top level. So main nav on each page should be: Home | Worship | Pastor's Message | Sermon | Members | Events | Contact | Search | FAQ
That is what it has always looked like and my Members page is in the correct place in the Sitemap (see attached image) I placed Members beneath the home page but as you can see it only shows when system pages is checked.

As well as Exclude From Nav, there are attributes:
Exclude from sitemap
Exclude from search index
Exclude from pagelist
I cant remember offhand which also affect autonav.
There are also attributes introduced by various nav and page list addons that could be affecting the page.
Also check that the page is published and not left open in edit mode.

Except that only the Exclude from nav attribute is available on that page and even that is unchecked. Also this is global that the main nav dropped this page. I think the main issue is that the page is only visible in the Sitemap under system pages but is clearly NOT a system page.
FYI, i never got this fixed but I was able to recreate the pages. Very tedious but it worked.
is member page is a subpage? if
yes, then edit you autonav block, change settings of ' display top lavel'
