Missing Navigation bar after bluehost.com upgrade
Permalink
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone ever encountered this one before. Bluehost.com technical support refered me to these message boards as they ruled out any issues with their servers.
We upgraded our hosting plan from Plus to Cloud and now the navigation bar is missing after logging in to design the site.
I am completely new to Concrete 5 and appreciate the help in advance thanks!

Hi MrKDilkington,
Just as you posted found a work around found below by just navigating tohttp://siteurl/dashboard
http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/themes/followed-tutorial-...
It is also pointing out that
"The latest version of concrete5 is 5.5.2.1. You are running 5.4.2.2. Update Now!"
So I am wondering if it is safe to perform the upgrade during off hours and it may fix my issue?
The person that edits the site just visited me and stated using the dashboard workaround, it did not publish the changes.

I am not familiar with older versions of concrete5, so someone else will have to provide guidance regarding this issue.
Thanks again for taking a shot. I believe I found the answer (still waiting on end user confirmation though)
With Bluehost's help I fixed the old ip address to the new ip address in two files
\site.php
\www\config\site.php
I also added the "<?php Loader::element('footer_required'); ?>" line before </body> in
www\themes\mytheme\default.php

Do you have a backup of your site from before your hosting plan was upgraded?
What is the address of your site?
