Move navbar in vertigo

I want to move the vertigo navbar flush with the top left side of my main content area. Every time I add content to the right side block it will push the default navbar block farther down the page on the left sidebar. This new theme has a bug that needs to be corrected when making edits in the dashboard. Where do I go in the back end to correct this? Please PM me for the webpage. Thanks.
