Moving blocks: could be easier?

When you want to move a block, you have to:

- click on the block
- click Move from the context menu
- move the block
- save positioning

I'm sure long-term Concrete5 folks have heard this before or thought about it, but wouldn't it be great if there were a "drag" icon showing on the block? Then you could move it straight away with a single action. It would be even better if the position gets saved automatically (no need to click Save Positioning), or if some message appears at the top of the block asking to confirm whether you want to save this position. Then the sequence would be like this:

- click the "drag" icon and move the block. That's it!!

This would be wonderful and would go a long way to being a Joomla/Drupal/ and even WordPress-killer app, I think.

Has anyone considered this? Would be great to try this. I'm asking because if no one has, I might want to try some of this after I wrap up my current Concrete5 project.

This works pretty much exactly as you have described it in Concrete 5.7.4
