moving blocks

I want to move some blocks around but they dont stay where I drop them, is this normal.
I am assuming you can't just place a block anywhere you like on your template to add the content into it.

You should be able to put a block wherever you like.

Some things to try-
1. Try clearing your browser cache
2. Try clearing your concrete5 cache
3. After moving a block, try publishing straight away instead of previewing.
4. Which browser are you using? Try using Safari, Chrome or Firefox
5. Which version of concrete5 are you using? Consider updating to the latest stable version.

Im using the latest stable version of Concrete and Google Chrome.
Whenever I move a block and let it go it pretty much goes back to where it started from.

Eg.

If I have a block in the header part in the left and want to move it to the right I click and select move and drag it over and when I let it go it just comes back to where it started from

Works fine for me.

Added content blocks and moved them around. Added image block to the logo area.

thanks guys,

i was on the missunderstanding the blocks can be moved to anywhere on the page however they have to stick to within the predefined areas is that correct.
So for instance i cant place something up in the top right hand corner
