Moving Concrete5 to another hosting problem

Hi guys, I have pretty much followed the instructions concrete5 provides (http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/installation/moving_a_site/) but I am having a problem.

When I try to open my site in the new directory it has an error message "unable to connect to the database".

I have no idea of what can be wrong.
Anyone can give me an hint? that would be great!

That could easily be arising from a mistake made when you edited config/site to point to the mySQL database on the new host.
