Multiple image upload problem

Problem when trying to upload multiple image files:
Add block > image > choose image > upload multiple > add files > then I navigate to a folder location on my local drive or network, and get this message:
"No items match your search"
Even though all the files in the folder are jpg files, which is one of the file types allowed.
Is this a bug?

That is a known problem with 5.5 affecting Firefox. 5.6 includes a fix for it.
I am on 5.6.1.2 having this issue
Does using another browser fix the issue? Is anyone else reporting this issue with 5.6?
The problem could be that the files you are wanting to upload are too big. I don't think C5 will recognize a picture is there if it is too big to upload.
Have you tried uploading your files through the incoming folder using ftp, files> Incoming? I find this the quickest method to add more then 5 images quickly
