My custom navbar

How can I create as site wide horizontal nav bar that looks like the one on my current website.

I am seriously considering switching from yola.com to concrete5 so I can have more control over my site. My current site is pretty simple with less than 10 pages.

If you have some development skills, maybe this is a good start:

You can edit and customize it they way you want, and can always revert back to the original elemental theme.
