Need to develop an on-line signup form

We need to create an online signup form for our members to signup for a specific time/date but we need to be able to verify user before info appears on site.
I am a newbie to Concrete5...just know basics thus far. Can what we need be done with ProForms add-on or do we need something different?

ProForms + ProEvents can do this. (ProEvents if you need specific day/event qty tracking. otherwise you likely only need ProForms)

But I would simply make those pages for "registered users" only thus requiring login. Then in your form add the "associated user" question type to associate the currently logged in user to the submitted form.

Thank you for your quick reply...I will look into both of these add-ons to see which will fit our needs better at this time. Maybe both?!?

Can I import EXCEL files to use on ProForms ?
