When I tried to enter my website as my site, in the Concrete Profile, it said it wasn't an approved Concrete Website, how do I make it one?
Sounds like you need to activate that account. You will need to go to your dashboard. Under the "Members" section, choose "Search Users". Check the box next to the user(s) you want to edit. Select "Activate" from the drop-down menu, and save. This should make the account accessible.
Isn't it required that the site needs to connect to the concrete5 community?
Try hovering over the Dashboard button and clicking on 'add-ons' in the bottom right corner of the popup widow. It should then ask you to 'connect to the community'. After that, you should be able to associate your website with your concrete5 profile.
Or do I misunderstand the problem here?

Hi Lora,
Joining the Concrete5 community gives you access to the resources you need to create a new website but it does not automatically do that for you. Browse the "About" page and the "Documentation" area to get a little better overview. If you'd like to take a little "test drive" with a temporary sample site go to http://www.concrete5.org/about/trial/... and scroll to the page bottom where you'll see a link to sign up for a free Instant Demo (note* the demo expires... use just to experiment with C5).
If you like what you find, you can then create a site on the hosting provider of your choice.
That all said: If I misunderstood and you already have a site that you're looking to edit with Concrete5, its very likely it won't work. If that's the case, let us know and we'll make recommendations for you.
Hope this helps :)
