New to Concrete5 - How to add thumbnail to page list

Hi,
I'm playing around with a concrete5 site that someone created for us. There is already a page list with thumbnail and the number of pages under that page listed on first page and I'm trying to do the same with another group of pages but only the list shows up, without the number and without the thumbnail. I've added the thumbnail to each page's property already.

There is probably a custom template being used with the page list block. In edit mode if you click on your new pagelist block then select custom template you will get a drop down box of available templates. Try one of the available templates.
Wow! Thanks for the advice. It worked like magic. Just like to know if there's anyway I can edit that template?
Also, being new to Concrete 5, I would like to learn more about editing. What's the best place to start??

look in blocks/page_list you will find a php file there with the same name as the template you selected. You can edit that or copy it with a new name to make a new template
