Newbie and struggling

Hi folks, hoping for some help. I'm new to C5 and researched the web before deciding this looked to be a great way forward however I'm stuck at the first hurdle.
I have a current site published at my .com URL but am playing on my domain .co.uk URL to make a new website with concrete5. The problem is no matter how many times I watch videos and read threads when I go back to my concrete trial I get confused (i.e. totally lost!). I've uploaded photos and even had some on a page but from my home page I have no navigation links/buttons etc except to help topics (because I haven't deleted the original text yet on my home page)
Can someone get me started on the navigation side of things? I don't want a home page as a parent page - my aim is to have approx 10 buttons and around three of them will have sub-pages ..........
I don't have any formal training in html etc so won't be in the least offended by answers in the most basic terminology LOL
Any advice appreciated
TY in advance,
Teri

I've been trying to log in to my website but I just get the message 'page not found' ........... can anyone help? I was able to log in earlier today, not sure if I've accidentally deleted something or not.

Sorry to be a pain!

After you log in it will redirect to your home page which is your root. Simply go to:http://www.vbstoppunt.be/index.php/dashboard/... and you'll be in the dashboard.

Hi Steve,

I can't log-in ......... that's the probem. Where is that link taking me to, it says 'onze school' - I don't understand, there's no mention of concrete5 site or my original URL? Did you change my log-in?

Teri, I sent you a PM yesterday that I didn’t have your url. I haven't been to your site yet. Previous post wrong is the wrong thread.
