Newbie here...Is there a way to link an image to another image.....

.....without viewer of site having to wait for another page to load?
Context of this question: I am an artist (working in conventional media and only mildly tech savvy) who would like to create an art portfolio using Concrete5. I would like a viewer to be able to click on an image and go to another image. I would also like them to be able to click on the second image to go back to the first image. I have been experimenting on the software without seeing how to do this, but maybe I am missing something. I thought perhaps someone here already knew how to do this (without adding a module that would cost a lot)
Thank you very much

yeah. just add an image normally with the image block and then use your second image as image on state. add the block and then whenever someone mouses over the first image the second image will automatically appear.
Thanks for your reply.Haven't tried it yet. It sounds like I can only go from image one to image two. Is there any way to create a series of images that link to each other one at a time? Thanks again for your reply and if you or anyone knows the answer to this one.
Hi again, I did try that cool "on state" image thing and it looks as though it will be useful for something down the line, but for now, I am guessing that I won't be able to do the thing I wanted to do as mentioned above (link image to image in a series) Thank you anyway.
You DEFINITELY want to check out this FREE add-on:http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/sortable-fancybox-galle...
There's also a paid version with more features:
http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/deluxe-image-gallery/...
They probably don't do *exactly* what you want but if you're not tech-savvy either one is a great, easy-to-implement solution.
Good luck!

Thank you I will def check them out! The answers on this thread have been lots of help!
OMG Thank you thank you thank you! I just checked out the demo for the sortable gallery and it is even more perfect for my use than what I'd hoped for! :)
Sorry for so many messages. I def should have installed it first before I wrote back. Now my question is this: I installed it and I see the add-on on my project page. How do I use it? Where is the menu or pop-up for actually using when I'm in editing mode? Thanks again!
go into edit mode, click on main, add block, scroll down and you should see the addon fancybox or something like that. click on that and the menu should show up.
I found it! You're awesome!!
