Next and Previous Nav and Copied Pages

Hi, we are noticing that on pages that were created by copying other pages, the Next and Previous navigation does not work properly. It appears to only display links to itself for the next or previous links.

My client created a number of pages using this method, rather than just adding a new (sub) page via the Full Sitemap. If the pages were created by copying their Next and Previous navigation does not work correctly. If the pages were created by just adding a new page, their navigation does work properly, so I am concluding it has to do with copying the pages, perhaps it is confusing the navigation. I have also cleared the cache and it did not fix the problem.

Is there a way to get the Next and Previous Nav block to display the other sibling pages within a section if the pages have been copied rather than added as new pages?

Thanks,
- Sherri

I'm seeing the same problem for quite some time now, i have reported it as a bug.

A temporary solution i found is to go to the sidemap and just move the copied pages to another position and then back again. This seems to update the related values in the database and the Next and Previous Nav Add-on recognizes these pages again and works as expected.

I am having sort of the same issue, however, I'm just using the composer to write blog posts. The Next/Prev buttons only ever go to the first or the last blog entries, it skips all the ones in between. I have tried moving them around in the site map and no luck.

Any thoughts?

Thank you
