Next/Previous/Up navigation on all blog entries only

Permalink 1 user found helpful
Hi... I'm very new to Concrete5 (time scale measured in days). Using 5.6.3.3 via Bluehost.

I'm trying to get next/previous/up navigation on my blog entries. I can add a block to each page manually but that strikes me as being a little ridiculous in terms of the effort required. I can also add it to the site-wide navigation header but it looks really ugly there. I'd be happy (enough) to add it to the whole site if I could figure out how to add a new site-wide block at the bottom of the pages. The ideal, however, would be to only have it on blog posts.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Add it to the Blog Entry page type.

Dashboard Under PAGES & THEMES > Page Types > Hit the DEFAULTS button on the Blog Entry page type and add the prev/next nav block on the page.

After adding, select the block and choose "Set-up on child pages" and this will apply the next/prev block to all the selected Blog Entry pages that already exist.
