No Edit Bar without index.php

Whenever I login to my site as an admin, I do not see the edit bar on the homepage unless /index.php is outrightly specified. It shows up fine on all other pages...just not the homepage. Anyone else come across this issue? I'm running 5.4.0.2
I have the issue of having to login twice to get the edit bar onhttp://www.wirelessaffinity.com/.... It uses the domain mapper addon so I thought that was the problem.
Yeah, I got the exact same problem. Thanks by the way for the "index.php" tip. Now I can at least edit my homepage.
I just moved my install from a sub directory to the root when that occured. Everything else is working fine.
