To get the menu you dont click on it, you need to hover (mouse over) on it.

Did you recently install an addon or write a javascript?

When I would sign in to edit my page by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page that said "To edit this page click here to sign in" it would go back to my homepage with a new white horizontal box and a box that said "EDIT" in the horizontal white box. I would click on this box and the home page would come back up with a drop down menu that had a box that said "EDIT THIS PAGE". I would click on this box and all my items on the page would get a red dotted line around a box that contained each element and the elements boxes would darken. Then another window would open with the page code in it. The code then would disappear and the window would contain wysiwyg and allow me to edit the page. Now the elements never darken, the code window does not appear and I can not select any text or do any editing to the page. All that happens is that after I click on "EDIT" from the white box that looks like a tool bar the "EDIT" box either changes to "EDITING" and the red dotted borders appear around the elements but the edit page window does not appear and I can not change any text, can not add any links or do any kind of editing, OR the "EDIT" box disappears and all I have left is the horizontal white box with nothing in it and I can not edit. This happened AFTER I updated my page to the latest version of Concrete5. Everything was fine until I did that.
