Nooby - How to install php include

Hi,
I am trying out Concrete5 and would like to include a script on the home page, I need to put some code at the very top of the page, some code in my html page to display the script
and some code at the bottom of the home page.
I am used to editing a index.html page. not sure where to look for the home page so I can install these codes.
Anyone guide me to the correct place please.

Next easiest way, get the free designer content addon. Use that to create the bare bones of a block with whatever edit parameters you need. Then edit your own code into the view (or copy to create a custom template).
With either of the above, then add the block to a global area ta the top of your page.
If you are a developer just getting into c5, designer content is an excellent tool to learn the basics with.
