Number of characters surrounding the hits in search results

Dear friends,
when I let c5 show the page description in search results, it always shows the description from its beginning. If the hit is placed after 200 characters it couldn't be displayed (if i short out the results text).
Is there a way to get c5 displaying (for instance) 50 chars before and 50 chars after the hits?
Looking forward for some help.
