Object Expected Popup Error

Recently (i'm not sure what changed) when i try to add a new block to a page i get a IE pop up that says "Object Expected" and then a button that says "Ok" I hit ok and then the list of blocks comes up fine. Doesnt seem to have an effect on functionality but its a bit weird and i'd like to fix it. any suggestions?

hm, os, browser, IE pop up? Which IE Version?
Have you tried it with another browser too? same error?

Sorry about that. I'm viewing it on win xp pro with ie 7.

firefox does not seem to have a popup BUT it just crashes the page making it go blank when i go to add a block to the page. This is weird.
