One-click access to Content editor

I m really luking fwd to following's reply:
We know dat the content editor opens up after clicking on the popup menu's -edit option which itself appear on clicking the content block in edit mode.
I want dat this content editor appears by a single click on the content block in the edit block and no intermediate popup menu should be dere.I mean dis should be one step process and not two step.
